① Miniaturization
Cylindricaldesign,small size. By using new technology and process, the capacitor features small volume, lightweight, and low height, satisfying people's requirements for three-dimensional space, and bringing greater economic benefits to users. Because the gas is filled inside, the capacitor can be placed vertically or horizontally, which is convenient for installation.
② Gas-filled Capacitor
The capacitor is internally filled with nitrogen(N2), an environmentally friendly insulating gas. The gas density is similar to atmospheric pressure, and no pressure is generated by itself. The operation is safe and reliable. The gas filled inside the capacitor reduces the dielectric loss of capacitor, the capacitor itself does not heat during operation, which improves the reliability of operation. The inside of the capacitor unit is connected by a triangle, and sealed in a cylindrical aluminum shell through gas (N2) technology. MKP capacitor is a new generation of dry environmental protection self-healing gas capacitor.
③ MKP Technology
The interior is divided into three MKP windings. Its current-carrying metal layer(electrode) is deposited on the side of the film by vaporization. The electrode is connected by the metal layer sputtered in front of the winding unit. The metal coating (main compositions are zinc and aluminum) under high vacuum and the edge strengthening technology of additional connection points and cross-sectional coatings plays an important role in suppressing large currents and ensuring stability of the capacitor, and has very superior self-healing properties.
Thick edges and special film cutting technology (optimized combination of corrugation and smooth cutting)can produce the largest effective surface for metal spraying or bonding treatment (winding design), which means that the capacitor has high surge current suppression ability. In addition, the edge contact problem caused by edge contraction effect of winding film can also be fully resolved.
④ Safety Explosion-proof
The capacitors are filled with environmentally friendly insulating gas instead of liquid, epoxy and paraffin, so there is no risk of fire caused by oil injection or oil leakage, which plays relevant role and guarantees the ecological environment. Gas is used as the internal medium of capacitor to achieve a true dry effect. Meanwhile, the capacitor has an over-voltage separation protection device to ensure that the capacitor is explosion-proof.
⑤ Self-healing Technology
The dielectric used in our capacitors has self-healing function: Once voltage breakdown occurs, the metal conductor layer will generate high heat, so that the metal conductor around the breakdown point quickly evaporates and escapes. These escaped metal conductors are displaced within a few microseconds, and is blown out of the breakdown area under the action of pressure at the center of breakdown point, so an insulating area is formed. During and after the breakdown occurs, the capacitor can still work normally. The loss of capacitor caused by self-healing is less than 100pF,which means that the degree of loss can only be verified through precise measuring instruments.
⑥ Discharge Resistor Module
The capacitor is equipped with a discharge resistor module to ensure that the capacitor terminal voltage drops below 50V within 50s after the capacitor is powered off.
⑦ Over-voltage Separation Protection Device
In the event of over-voltage or near the end of service life of capacitor, the increasing"self-healing" damage will lead to increase in the internal pressure of the capacitor. In order to prevent them from bursting suddenly, we design a "pressure relief structure" on the cylindrical aluminum can of the capacitor. This safe structure is designed as a weakened point in the internal connection of capacitor. The top of the capacitor is pushed up by pulling apart the pleated part, so as to achieve the purpose of pressure relief. Meanwhile, the metal wire connected to the top is also broken by pulling due to the rise of top, which effectively impedes the flow of current and prevents explosion of capacitor due to overload and overheating.
⑧ 200,000 Hours of Working Life
By using special high vacuum technology and long-term drying and dehumidification process, the capacitor is filled with environmentally-friendly insulating gas. After the shell is filled with protective gas and then sealed, stringent gas leak test is conducted, This complex process avoids electrode oxidation and partial discharge(corona discharge), ensuring that the capacitor has excellent capacitance stability and long service life.
Application areas
